Job summary

TerraBella Senior Living in Salisbury is seeking a Driver to provide timely transportation for residents to activities, appointments, and events, ensuring safety and courteous service. You will assist wheelchair passengers, secure mobility devices, operate communications with base, and help maintain community vehicles, while complying with safety standards.

Requires a high school diploma, must be 21+, CDL may be required; prior customer service in a senior living setting is preferred;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• CDL may be required with acceptable driving record.
• Experience in customer service environment, preferably in a senior living setting.
• Knowledge of safety precautions and compliance with safety measures.
• Strong organization and time management skills; ability to handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and courteous transportation for residents to activities and events.
• Assist disabled passengers into and out of the vehicle.
• Secure wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize equipment.
• Operate radio/c pager to communicate with base station or other vehicles.
• Maintain community vehicles in good working condition.
