Job summary

The Aspenwood Company in McKinney, TX seeks a Driver/Maintenance Assistant to provide safe, courteous transportation for residents and support daily operations.

You will drive the community vehicle, assist residents, perform light maintenance, and report issues. Monday through Friday with some weekends and holidays. A valid license and clean driving record are required; CDL is a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must have professional communication and customer service skills.
• Experience with transporting seniors and operating a 14-passenger bus is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive the community vehicle to and from assigned destinations.
• Assist residents getting in and out of the vehicle.
• Follow all safety procedures and traffic laws.
• Secure wheelchairs and maintain passenger safety during transport.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance reporting issues.
• Maintain daily/weekly trip inspections and vehicle mileage logs.
• Assist residents with belongings and support mobility.
