The Aspenwood Company - The Village on Morehead is seeking a friendly Driver to provide safe transportation within our Independent Living senior community. This PRN role requires weekend and holiday availability and offers a pay rate of $21.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License with an excellent driving record.
• Pro­fes­sional communication and customer service skills.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, good judgment, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive the community vehicle to and from assigned destinations.
• Help residents get into and out of the vehicle safely.
• Follow all operating safety procedures and observe all traffic laws.
• Secure passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices to ensure stability during transport.
• Practice safe driving techniques at all times.
• Report accidents or vehicle damage to the Executive Director or Manager on Duty.
• Clean the vehicle, ensure it is fueled, and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain trip inspections and vehicle mileage records.
• Assist residents with belongings.
• Maintain a safe driving record compliant with company policy and insurance.
• Handle emergencies and provide basic First Aid.
