Job summary

Suite Living Senior Care Inc. in Minnesota is seeking a Housing Director to lead a senior living community, advance licensure, and manage day-to-day operations with a focus on resident well-being and occupancy performance.

The role requires pursuing Minnesota Assisted Living Director in Residence (ALDIR) status and progressing toward Minnesota LALD licensure within 12 months. Initial base salary is $70,000 with a quarterly occupancy-based bonus; after licensure, base salary increases to $80,000

Qualifications

• Meets Minnesota eligibility requirements for ALDIR status or able to obtain Residency Permit.
• Interest in senior care, housing operations, resident services, and leadership.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage relationships with residents, families, staff and partners.
• Willingness to complete Minnesota LALD licensure within the permitted period (≤12 months).

Responsibilities

• Support daily community operations in line with Minnesota requirements.
• Maintain regulatory readiness, documentation, and timely corrective actions.
• Monitor operating performance, expenses and budgeting; assist in planning and fiscal accountability.
• Prepare for licensing surveys, inspections, and quality-improvement activities.
• Provide leadership to keep staff engaged and focused on resident well-being.
