Job summary

Oakmont Management Group in Irvine, California, is seeking an Assisted Living Director to oversee the AL department in our San Ramon community. You will lead resident care delivery, staff scheduling, and programming while ensuring compliance with physician orders and state regulations.

The role requires 21+, RCFE/healthcare management experience, and willingness to obtain administrator license. We offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive team focused on quality and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
• Prefer two (2) years’ experience in RCFE and/or one (1) year in healthcare management.
• Prefer two (2) years’ experience supervising team members.
• Prefer higher education degrees or certificates in healthcare administration, gerontology, social work, and/or nursing.
• Willingness to obtain an administrator’s license or certification.
• Proficiency in MS Office programs and payroll/HRIS software.
• Able to work with seniors and cognitively impaired individuals.
• Able to adapt, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Able to obtain and maintain valid first aid and CPR certification.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests.

Responsibilities

• Ensure resident care is delivered per physician orders, state regulations, and policy.
• Participate in weekly care meetings and review service plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals on resident care needs.
• Oversee care team with current service plans and run sheets.
• Supervise staff, hire, train, and counsel department team members.
• Oversee Activities of Daily Living tasks and assist when needed.
• Assist with Care Provider and Medication Training and coverage as needed.
