Westminster Communities of Florida in Lakeland, FL seeks a Director of Assisted Living to supervise staff, monitor resident health, and ensure quality care across ALF units. The role reports to Health Services Administrator and Executive Director, with a 40-hour week and occasional weekend coverage.

Responsibilities include staffing, budget adherence, assessments of new residents, medication management, and coordinating care in Level of Care meetings.

Qualifikationen

• Two years LTC or AL experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in health-related field or Registered Nurse (R.N.) with at least two years experience.
• CORE training required
• Must be CPR Certified

Aufgaben

• Supervising the staff including interviewing, selection, training, motivating, wage and salary administration, performance appraisals, policies and procedures.
• Managing the strategic planning and operations of the department by implementing cost control measures and meeting budget goals.
• Assisting with assessments of new residents moving from Independent Living or the outside into Assisted Living.
• Responsibility for the appearance of the Assisted Living Department.
• Participating in the Level of Care meetings.
• Managing the day-to-day needs of the residents, communicating needs or changes to the family members, and conducting family meetings.
• Overseeing medication dispensing and handling, ensuring inventory levels and regular audits; oversees monthly MORS.
