Job summary

Mosaic Management is seeking a Dining Services Manager to lead and develop our dining team across facilities in Washington state. You will oversee all aspects of daily meal prep, service quality, and regulatory compliance while coaching staff for peak performance.

Responsibilities include staffing, training, menu planning, and ensuring safety standards. This role requires hands-on leadership and a commitment to resident satisfaction and team growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; culinary or dietary training preferred.
• 2+ years supervisory dining services experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, budgeting, and cost control.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to lift 40-50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets and senior living dietary requirements.
• Experience planning menus and coordinating special events.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage dining services staff, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and evaluation.
• Coach and mentor team to build a high-performing unit.
• Conduct regular team huddles to communicate updates and service standards.
• Maintain staffing levels to meet service needs and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee daily meal preparation, cooking, plating, and portion control.
• Assist in kitchen during peak times and expediting meals.
