Job summary

Trustwell Living, LLC is seeking a dedicated Food Service Supervisor to prepare and serve meals for residents in an assisted living setting. You will maintain clean production areas, manage inventory, and ensure sanitation and safety standards are met.

You will supervise staff, follow menus, and ensure resident dietary needs and preferences are known and honored. CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days is preferred; occasional longer shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Strong food preparation skills and ability to follow recipes.
• Experience supervising staff in a food service setting.
• Good English speaking and writing abilities; clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepares food items and serves food to Residents within scheduled time frame.
• Follows menu cycle, noting changes or substitutions made.
• Cleans and maintains food service areas, including kitchen and dining room.
• Assures compliance with state sanitation code.
• Orders all supplies and maintains inventory control; adheres to budget guidelines.
• Supervises food service functions.
• Maintains quality of food services, quantity prepared, and sanitation.
• Maintains a clean, neat, and safe working environment.
• Assures residents' food needs and preferences are known.
• Ensures meals for staff, residents, and guests are counted daily.
• Maintains meal service records; reports problems observed with food service.
