Senior Living Dining Server - PRN Weekend Shifts

Job summary

Village on the Park McKinney, an Assisted Living with Memory Care senior community, is seeking Servers who are enthusiastic, friendly, and dedicated to exceptional service in our dining room and during events.

Compensation is $15.75/hr with PRN shifts available. Must be able to work weekends and holidays and maintain high standards of appearance and hygiene. Training and community involvement are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Food handler certification within 60 days as required by state guidelines.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service attitude and ability to interact with residents, staff, and guests.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Set dining room for meals and events.
• Greet residents and guests and seat them.
• Take and deliver orders to kitchen staff.
• Ensure accuracy and quality of meals.
• Maintain safety and sanitation standards during service.
• Assist with cleaning and restocking as needed.
• Explain menu selections to residents and guests.
• Attend in-service training sessions.
• Be part of the community emergency response team.
