Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is seeking a Server at Oakmont of Mariner Point to provide friendly, courteous dining service to residents, families, and visitors. The role supports the dining experience in alignment with our mission and values on a campus dedicated to senior living.

Responsibilities include taking orders, serving with professionalism, setting up/breaking down tables, and ensuring safety and etiquette.

Qualifications

• Experience is preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 16 years of age with a work permit.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• For health and safety of our team members and residents, vaccination and PPE requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Serve residents, family members, and visitors in a professional, dignified, efficient, and courteous manner.
• Accurately and professionally take residents' and guests’ food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS.
• Set up and break down tables.
• Assure compliance with serving techniques/etiquette.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
