Job summary

Oakmont Senior Living is seeking a Server to provide friendly, efficient dining service to residents, families, and guests in a welcoming setting. You will take orders, enter them into the POS, set up and clear tables, and assist with maintaining a safe, courteous dining environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork with other staff, adherence to serving standards, and a genuine desire to help the elderly enjoy a positive dining experience. Prior experience is welcome but training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old with a work permit.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Ability to interact effectively with residents, families and staff.
• Pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests (TB, etc.).
• Vaccination/testing requirements may apply per safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Serve residents, family members, and visitors in a courteous, professional manner.
• Accurately take and enter residents' and guests' food and beverage orders into the POS.
• Set up and break down tables as needed.
• Maintain proper serving techniques and etiquette.
• Maintain a safe environment and support team collaboration.
