Job summary

Monarch Communities in New York is seeking friendly Dining Servers to provide exceptional service to Residents and guests. The role is Part-Time, paying up to $17 per hour, with a schedule that is less than 30 hours per week.

Responsibilities include taking orders, setting up dining areas, assisting with service and beverages, and ensuring resident comfort. Benefits include PTO, flexible schedule, and on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred or GED accepted.
• Minimum of one year experience in fine dining hospitality and/or full service senior living.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and make good judgments.
• Experience working with seniors.

Responsibilities

• Take residents’ dining orders in a friendly and attentive disposition.
• Learn and retain residents’ names, special requests, and dietary restrictions.
• Ensure dining room is set up with items for service.
• Assist with cleaning and sanitizing the dining room, menus, kitchen and serving stations.
• Prepare beverages, snacks, desserts, salads and condiments for service.
• Assist residents with special dining requests.
• Ensure residents are accounted for during meals and document attendance.
• Assist with special events and participate in training.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations and community policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
