Job summary

Chatsworth Commons Senior Living seeks a dedicated Server to maintain a clean, orderly dining room, serve residents, and support meal service in our Chatsworth, CA location. You will prepare serving areas, buss tables, and help ensure a welcoming dining experience for residents and guests.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, food service experience is a plus, and any Food Handlers/Serv Safe certification is helpful.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous food server experience is preferred but not required.
• Food Handlers or Serv Safe certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, orderly and safe dining room and service area.
• Prepare dining room and service areas before each meal.
• Serve residents and guests as they arrive in the dining room at serving times.
• Buss tables during meals.
• Clean and reset dining room after each meal.
• Clean and organize service area after each meal.
• Store and label food properly for infection control.
• Record meal counts after each meal.
• Clean equipment and work areas according to schedule.
• All other duties as assigned by Culinary Director/Chef/Lead Cook or Executive Director
