Job summary

The Highlands in Topsham, ME is seeking friendly dining room servers to deliver meals to residents with empathy and a warm smile. You will work in a supportive community, taking orders, serving food, and helping maintain a pleasant dining experience in the dining room.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED at a minimum.
• Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to work with residents.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Completion of drug testing and criminal record background check upon hire and upon request of supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals in the dining room and assist with meal service.
• Take orders and serve food in a courteous manner.
• Set up and deliver trays as requested by chef/cook.
• Bus tables and clean work areas in the dining room.
• Assist with proper care and use of kitchen and dining room equipment.
• Maintain a neat, clean appearance and follow dress code.
• Work scheduled shifts and demonstrate dependability.
• Willingness to perform other duties as necessary.
