Job summary

Covenant Living and CovenantCare Home Health and Hospice is seeking a Dining Services Server to provide prompt, courteous service in the dining room during meals. You will perform serving, bussing, hospitality, and light food prep for events, ensuring residents and guests have a pleasant dining experience.

The role requires a high school diploma, a current Food Handler’s Permit, and about one year of food service experience.

Qualifications

• Required high school diploma.
• Current Food Handler’s Permit is required.
• ServSafe training is beneficial.
• Experience: ~1 year in food service including serving/waiting tables, cleaning and kitchen sanitation protocols preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation, hospitality duties, and meal service, including serving food, waiting tables, and bussing tables.
• Serve Breakfast, lunch and dinner to residents, guests, and staff in the Dining Room or Bistro.
• Bus and reset tables as needed.
• Prepare salad bar items for lunch.
• Fill salad bar with ice and set for service.
• Prepare and stage desserts.
• Light food prep for special events.
• Assist in setting up meetings or events with snacks, coffee, and tea.
• Follow sanitation guidelines and state/federal regulations.
