Covenant Living Communities and Services is seeking a Dining Room Supervisor to supervise dining room staff and ensure organized, pleasant dining for residents. The role includes greeting and seating residents, coordinating meal service, and maintaining high service quality.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, experience in dining service, and the ability to supervise staff while communicating effectively with residents and team members.

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• Experience in dining service is preferred.
• Management training or coursework is desirable.
• Minimum age is 18.
• Genuine desire to understand the needs of a geriatric population.
• Ability to supervise diverse staff and residents with patience.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and schedules wait staff, attendants, relief supervisor and dishwashers.
• Works with the Dining Services Director on hiring, evaluation and discipline.
• Directs orientation and training of dining room staff.
• Sets up work station assignments and assigns duties as needed.
• Maintains service flow to keep sections evenly seated and responsive.
• Coordinates resident meal requests, reservations, seating, and meal counts.
