The Forum is seeking a hospitality focused Dining Room Manager in California to lead the dining room within the Culinary Services Department, ensuring a superior level of service and cleanliness. This full-time role demands flexibility including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities include managing staff, scheduling, training, and maintaining standards for food quality and presentation while ensuring proper staffing and budget adherence in a dynamic senior living environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent education/experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of restaurant or senior living experience.
• Experience in staff training and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall dining room operation, staffing, and appearance.
• Provide leadership, training, scheduling and supervision of serving staff.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization per standards.
• Ensure food quality, presentation, and service standards.
• Maintain appropriate staffing levels and budget adherence.
• Train servers in customer service and serving techniques.
• Prepare server schedules according to needs and budget.
• Set tables, take orders, and provide courteous service.
• Clear dishes and assist with dishwashing.
