Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years food service experience, including 3 years of dining room management.
• Previous experience in both restaurant and senior living settings preferred.
• Strong commitment to customer service and desire to exceed expectations.
• Ability to read, comprehend, write, and speak English.
• Basic computer skills including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Hires, trains, directs, coaches, and evaluates dining room staff and assists with back-of-house hiring/training.
• Develops and trains staff on service standards to ensure exemplary customer satisfaction.
• Maintains a Do Whatever It Takes attitude and actively serves a dining room section.
• Creates and monitors staff schedules and assigns tasks for efficient meal service across locations.
• Ensures staff maintain professional conduct and strong customer service.
• Administers policies and programs through training and communications; conducts staff meetings.
• Operates dining room within budgetary guidelines and ensures regulatory compliance.
• Keeps current OSHA and local/state guidelines for dining room service.
