Job summary

Merrill Gardens is seeking a Dining Room Manager to lead front-of-house dining operations in a senior living community. You will train staff, ensure service quality and resident satisfaction, and manage seating and dining experiences with a focus on safety and presentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of dining room experience, preferably in a high volume setting.
• Leadership or management experience preferred.
• Maintain or obtain Food Handler’s Permit as required.
• Commitment to resident-focused service and safety.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of front of house service and training of dining room staff.
• Manage dining room operations for service quality, presentation, and cleanliness.
• Assign sections and tasks to leads and servers before shifts.
• Ensure proper resident seating, service, and personalized experiences.
• Monitor and analyze resident dining data for insights.
• Supervise training of new staff using Dining Services Training Guide.
• Foster positive interactions among residents and staff.
