Job summary

King David Post Acute Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a Dietary Cook to join our culinary team in Beachwood, Ohio. You will prepare meals to meet dietary requirements, keep a clean kitchen, and assist with scheduling and inventory while collaborating with the dietary team on events and menu ideas.

We value attention to detail, creativity, and passion for cooking to enhance residents' dining experiences. Flexible hours, weekends, and holidays are required as part of the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0 years of experience in food service or related field (entry-level candidates encouraged to apply).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to menu specifications and dietary requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist with meal scheduling, ordering, and inventory management.
• Collaborate with the dietary team to plan and execute special events and themed meals.
• Develop and implement new menu ideas and culinary techniques to enhance dining experiences.
