Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of food service management in skilled nursing/long-term care or senior living.
• Experience managing therapeutic textures (puree/mechanical soft diets).
• Strong resident engagement and customer service skills with residents, families, and staff.
• Food safety/handling certification as applicable.
• Culinary management experience in large healthcare or long-term care settings preferred.
• Experience working in a unionized environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily culinary and dining operations in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting.
• Ensure high-quality food production, meal service, and dining room operations.
• Ensure compliance with therapeutic diet requirements and safety standards.
• Lead, coach, and develop staff; conduct daily huddles and training on safety and service.
• Manage food, labor, and supply costs to meet budget and efficiency goals.
• Maintain compliance with health, sanitation, and regulatory requirements.
