Job summary

Dial Senior Living in Sioux City, IA is seeking entry-level dining staff to assist with meals, beverages, and dining area upkeep. The role emphasizes friendly resident service and teamwork in a compassionate senior living community.

You will take orders, serve meals, maintain clean dining spaces, and support residents with their preferences during shifts, with potential growth into more responsibilities over time.

Qualifications

• Able to read, write, and understand English.
• Promote teamwork in serving residents.
• Patient, courteous, and focused on resident experience.
• Able to operate basic dining room equipment or willing to learn.
• Ability to stand and move about for 3–3.75 hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Serve residents meals and take orders.
• Assist residents throughout dining experience.
• Close out orders in the POS system.
• Set tables and reset for meals.
• Inform residents of daily menu options.
• Care for residents by remembering preferences.
• Prepare and serve beverages as needed.
• Keep service areas clean and stocked.
• Vacuum dining area after meals.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Report injuries to supervisor the same day.
• Other duties as assigned.
