Job summary

Trulee Evanston is seeking a Front of House Dining Manager who will lead the dining room service team and ensure residents receive warm, attentive hospitality during each dining experience. The role supports daily dining operations, service standards, team training, scheduling, and overall dining room presentation.

The ideal candidate has a strong hospitality mindset, enjoys leading and developing a team, and understands the importance of creating a welcoming and high-quality dining experience

Qualifications

• Experience leading dining or service teams in senior living or hospitality.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to train, motivate and uphold service standards.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and special events as needed.
• Annual flu vaccine required; medical and religious exemptions accepted.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support front-of-house dining team members to deliver excellent service.
• Oversee dining room service, setup, cleanliness, presentation, and ambiance.
• Ensure team members follow service etiquette, hospitality standards, safety guidelines, and food handling practices.
• Support scheduling, training, onboarding, and ongoing development of dining staff.
• Partner with culinary team to ensure smooth dining room/kitchen communication.
• Monitor resident satisfaction and respond to questions and concerns promptly.
