Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a Director of Food and Beverage to create an exceptional dining experience for residents. You will recruit and train staff, oversee sanitation, and coordinate with leadership on special functions.

The role requires a high school diploma, Serve Safe, and supervisory experience in a dietary setting, with preference for healthcare dining backgrounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Serve Safe certification required; culinary/dietary manager certs preferred or obtainable.
• State and county certifications as applicable.
• Two years of supervisory experience in a dietary environment.
• Experience in senior living, hospitality, or healthcare dining preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, motivate, and educate staff; maintain department records.
• Establish sanitation procedures for kitchen and dining room.
• Coordinate with leadership for special resident functions.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, OSHA, and licensing requirements.
