Job summary

Sinceri Senior Living is hiring a Food Service Assistant to set tables, bus and wash dishes, and assist the cook as needed. You will complete cleaning duties and support dining room operations with a focus on friendly, attentive service for residents and families.

Required is the ability to relate well to residents, effective communication, and reliable attendance. State health requirements must be met and a Food Handlers Permit obtained where required.

Qualifications

• Relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively with staff.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and the public.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Meet state health requirements and obtain a Food Handlers Permit as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, wash and store dishes following facility procedures.
• Set up serving carts for meals and help serve residents, bus tables and assist cooks.
• Clean dining area, sweep and prepare tables for the next meal, ensure sanitation.
• Support the Food Services team to ensure smooth, safe kitchen operations.
