Job summary

The GreenFields Continuing Care Community is seeking a friendly Wait Staff team member for a 20-hour weekly shift (11:00am–3:00pm) in New York. The role emphasizes delivering welcoming dining experiences to residents with attention to meal service, safety, and cleanliness.

You will work within a compassionate team to ensure timely, courteous service and accurate meal delivery. Candidates should have a High School diploma or equivalent and solid communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals that are appetizing and meet standards of serving etiquette.
• Take and fulfill resident meal selections and describe menu offerings.
• Deliver meals promptly and accurately.
• Plate and prepare meals (soup, bread, salad, dessert, beverages).
• Set up tables, dining rooms, and place settings.
• Verify accuracy of menu selections and meal preparation.
• Assist with daily cleaning and maintain dining areas and pantries.
• Wash, store, and transport dishes and utensils safely.
• Maintain supplies for each meal and manage waste promptly.
