Job summary

Arbor Oaks, a Lifespark Senior Living Community in Andover, MN, is seeking a Culinary Assistant/Server to join our growing team. Shifts are Part Time AM (7a-2p) or PM (4p-7p) with every other weekend rotation; wage range $15.50–$20.50.

You will assist in food preparation, service, and dish washing, set up dining room trays, transport carts, and help deliver nourishments to residents and staff. A high school diploma is preferred, and prior senior living experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience in a senior living setting is preferred.
• Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, residents’ families, and employees.

Responsibilities

• Set up room trays and tables in dining room, serve and bus trays, pour and cover beverages, and assist in preparing and covering food.
• Transport carts to appropriate areas and deliver trays, when applicable.
• Deliver nourishments and snacks appropriately.
• Maintain a steady work pace to produce an adequate supply of clean kitchen utensils and dishes.
• Soak, scrub, scrape and wash soiled dishes.
