Northern Lights in Washburn, Wisconsin is seeking a compassionate Dietary Aide to support meal service within a senior living community. You will help prepare and serve nutritious meals, assist residents with dining, and maintain a warm, respectful environment.

No formal kitchen experience is required; however, you should be dependable, able to multitask, and communicate clearly with residents and team members. The role involves lifting up to 25 pounds and standing for shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or healthcare preferred
• Able to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and customer service mindset
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for full shifts
• Food handler certification preferred or willingness to obtain on hire

Responsabilités

• Assist in preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks per care plans
• Set up dining areas and ensure meals are served hot, on time, and well-presented
• Provide meal assistance to residents with kindness and respect
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work areas, and dining spaces
• Wash dishes and cookware with proper sanitation practices
• Dispose of waste per health department standards
• Coordinate with cooks and dietary staff to ensure resident satisfaction
• Communicate resident dietary changes to the dietary manager or nurses
• Treat residents with dignity and respect, and be a team player
