Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Geriatrics interest and ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Knowledgeable of dietary techniques and procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals, desserts, and snacks according to the posted menu, following special diets.
• Serve meals that are palatable and presentable.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment, including washing pots and sanitizing areas.
• Follow health code requirements for food storage and temperature control, and maintain documentation.
• Estimate and prepare food supplies to meet serving portions.
• Participate in continuing education to stay up-to-date on culinary techniques.
