• High school diploma or GED is required; or 1–3 years related experience.
• Certification in sanitation/food handling preferred.
• Prior institutional/healthcare food service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follows recipes to prepare meals meeting residents' nutritional needs.
• Prepares meals in required quantities that are appetizing and nutritious.
• Leads kitchen staff with food prep, trays, cleaning and storage.
• Maintains a clean work area during food service.
• Handles and stores food per departmental procedures and regulations.
