Job summary

Trinity Shores of Port Lavaca is seeking a dedicated Culinary Server to ensure smooth meal service and maintain hygiene in dining and kitchen areas. You will assist with meal prep, portioning, and post-meal cleanup, upholding high standards of cleanliness and teamwork.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, ServSafe qualifications, and strong organizational, time-management, and computer skills.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Successful completion of all ServSafe educational requirements.
• Excellent organizational, time-management and computer skills.
• Enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 pounds and bend, twist, stoop, kneel, and reach and sit for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist in meal preparation and portion allocation according to the menu and weekly schedule.
• Complete resident checklist and report results to cook or Culinary Director (CD).
• Assist in meal service in accordance with sanitation standards.
• Immediately inform CD of any substandard food quality.
• Monitor food and beverage to ensure proper temperature.
• Buss tables and wash dishes using the full hands in, full hands out method.
• Clean equipment as assigned.
• Maintain dining room and kitchen area in clean condition, in accordance with community procedures.
• Prepare, handle, store, and dispose of food in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Clean workspaces, cooking and serving equipment, trays, and dishes according to standards.
• Load and unload the dishwasher, store clean equipment and dishes properly.
