Job summary

The Amberleigh, a Sonida Senior Living community in Williamsville, NY, seeks an experienced Culinary Services Director (Executive Chef) to lead the dining program across independent living, assisted living, and memory care. You will supervise dining services staff, oversee food standards, plan menus, manage budgets, and collaborate with nursing to meet residents' needs.

The role requires 3–5 years in executive chef roles in hospitality or senior living, an associate degree or higher in Culinary

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience as an Executive Chef or Kitchen Manager in restaurants, hotels, SNF, or senior living.
• Associate degree or better in Culinary Arts, Food Science, Hospitality Management or Certified Executive Chef (CEC, ACF).
• Serve Safe Certification or Certified Dining Manager (CDM).

Responsibilities

• Manage, plan, and direct the activities of the culinary service department and supervise dining services staff.
• Maintain food service standards, policies, equipment, systems, and compliance with city/state regulations; deliver high-quality food service for Residents.
• Coordinate with nursing staff to meet residents’ needs; supervise inventory, orders, and budget adherence; cook daily in the kitchen if required.
