Job summary

Sonida Senior Living is seeking an Associate Counsel to support its Legal Department in the senior housing industry. The role involves advising operations leadership on regulatory compliance, managing litigation and risk mitigation, reviewing vendor contracts, and handling resident-related legal matters such as discharges and collections.

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, coordinating with outside counsel and attending mediations or arbitrations as required.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school and active U.S. state bar.
• 2–5 years of practicing attorney experience.
• Experience with assisted living regulatory matters or healthcare law is a plus.
• Ability to work with outside counsel and manage litigation.

Responsibilities

• Advise operations leadership on regulatory compliance.
