Job summary

Leisure Living is seeking a Part-Time Dining Services Aide to prepare nutritionally balanced meals and maintain dining area standards in our community kitchen. You will ensure residents receive meals aligned with their preferences and dietary needs, while upholding food safety and quality throughout service.

Education emphasizes a HS diploma or GED; six months of cooking/baking experience is preferred. Strong communication, teamwork and confidentiality are essential in this role at Leisure

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Six months of cooking and baking experience in a commercial setting preferred.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent oral and written communication and high hospitality standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals based on pre-planned menus with attention to nutrition and resident preferences.
• Ensure meals meet food safety standards and quality.
• Maintain pleasing plate presentation for all meals.
• Offer and prepare for residents' special diets and respect resident choices.
• Complete dining room service including set up, service and cleanup with high hospitality.
• Assist with inventory and maintain supplies in kitchenettes.
• Follow sanitation schedule for kitchen, equipment and dining room.
