Job summary

The Claiborne at Roswell is seeking a Cook to prepare high-quality, nutritious meals for our residents in a safe, organized kitchen. You will follow standardized recipes, uphold dietary standards, and support a clean, efficient dining operation.

We value integrity and teamwork; this role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and flexibility for weekends and holidays to ensure residents receive good meals and service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cooking experience in healthcare, senior living, or high-volume food service preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and safe food handling practices.
• Ability to follow recipes, menus, and instructions consistently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to standardized recipes, menus, and portion guidelines.
• Ensure meals meet quality, presentation, and dietary standards.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control policies.
• Support special diets and dietary restrictions as directed.
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and food prep areas.
• Assist with inventory, storage, labeling, and rotation of food items.
• Work closely with the dining services team to ensure timely meal service.
