Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Cook to prepare meals for residents, following standardized recipes, and ensuring quality, taste, and safety in a warm, well-organised kitchen. You will follow dietary modifications, record production quantities and food safety temperatures, stock and rotate food, and help with dishwashing and dining service when needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to standardized recipes and menus
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet Sunrise standards
• Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements
• Record production quantities and food safety temperatures
• Stock, rotate, date, and store food per safety regulations
• Maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas
• Complete cleaning logs and equipment maintenance reports
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines
• Support dishwashing and dining service as needed
• Lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator
