Sunrise Senior Living is hiring a Cook to prepare meals for residents, following standardized recipes and dietary modifications while maintaining a safe, clean kitchen. The role emphasizes quality, presentation, and adherence to safety standards in a supportive senior-living environment.

You will record production quantities, temperatures, and logs, stock and rotate supplies, and assist with dishwashing or dining service as needed.

• Prepare and serve meals according to standardized recipes and menus.
• Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements.
• Record production quantities and food safety temperatures.
• Maintain clean kitchen, storage and equipment areas.
• Lead production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to standardized recipes and menus.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet Sunrise standards.
• Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements.
• Record production quantities and food safety temperatures.
• Stock, rotate, date, and store food per safety regulations.
• Maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas.
• Complete cleaning logs and equipment maintenance reports.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines.
• Support dishwashing and dining service as needed.
• Lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator.
