Jaybird Senior Living is seeking a reliable Cook to support the culinary department in a senior living community. You will prepare meals, keep kitchens clean, and assist the Culinary Coordinator to ensure high-quality dining experiences for residents, visitors and team members.

The role requires at least 2 years in culinary/hospitality, ability to follow recipes, and strong teamwork. Opportunities include growth and a comprehensive benefits package in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Culinary Arts degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in culinary or hospitality services.
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain food safety standards.
• Strong organizational and teamwork skills; willing to supervise as needed.

Responsabilités

• Prepare food according to menu and recipe guidelines.
• Assist with serving meals and maintaining dining areas.
• Wash dishes and clean kitchen and dining spaces.
• Maintain sanitation and food safety; use PPE as required.
• Supervise food requisitions, inventory, and rotation when supervisor is absent.
• Assist and oversee Culinary/Resident Assistants in tasks.
