Job summary

Vista Prairie Communities Ridgeway, Assisted Living and Memory Care seeks a Cook to prepare meals per menus and dietary guidelines in a full-time role. You will help maintain a safe, sanitary kitchen and provide friendly service to residents during meals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Training in Culinary Arts and/or 1 year’s experience as a cook preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and carry out directions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to established menus and dietary guidelines.
• Ensure food is prepared and served in a safe, sanitary, and timely manner.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures in compliance with health regulations.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen and dining area.
• Provide friendly and attentive service to residents, employees, and guests.
• Support residents by providing personal care and service during meal times as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and resident satisfaction.
