Job summary

Vista Prairie Communities Ridgeway is seeking a dedicated Cook to prepare meals for residents in a supportive assisted living and memory care setting. You will follow established menus, ensure safe food handling, and maintain a clean kitchen while delivering friendly service to residents and staff.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, with culinary training and/or 1 year of cook experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Culinary arts training and/or 1 year of cook experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to established menus and dietary guidelines.
• Ensure food is prepared and served safely and timely.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures and regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining area.
• Provide friendly, attentive service to residents, staff, and guests.
• Support residents with assistance during meals as needed.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
