Job summary

Sagora Senior Living is seeking a Cook to prepare high-quality meals for residents across independent living, assisted living, and memory care. You will cook à la carte items, monitor stock, and maintain cleanliness in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Must have ServSafe Certification and Food Handler’s permit; 1+ year experience in a commercial kitchen; strong communication with residents and teammates is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial kitchen preferred.
• Must possess ServSafe Certification and Food Handler’s permit as regulated by state and local authorities.
• Ability to prepare specialized dishes for specific diets is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Cook à la carte items.
• Monitor stock and ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, food storage, and work areas.
• Assist with training of all Culinary team members.
• Follow established methods of meal preparation and presentation.
• Serve meals to residents promptly and in a friendly and courteous manner.
