Job summary

Quail Park Memory Care of West Seattle is seeking a friendly Cook to join our premiere senior living community. You’ll follow our recipes to produce meals that are fresh, healthy, attractive, and delicious, while keeping kitchens neat, sanitary, and compliant with health standards.

As a member of the Signature Dining team, you’ll support a tasty and enjoyable dining experience by reading menus, communicating with residents and teammates, and ensuring safe food handling.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 years applicable food service experience.
• Previous experience in both restaurant and senior living settings preferred.
• Must be able to read, comprehend, write and speak English to interpret menus and recipes and communicate with residents, families, team members and vendors.
• Must meet all health-related and food handling requirements pertaining to local and state regulatory agencies.
• Must maintain CPR/First Aid credentials
• Must maintain current Food Handlers credentials
• Subject to pre-employment screening including physical, drug and TB testing and criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Follow recipes to produce meals that are fresh, healthy, attractive, and delicious.
• Keep kitchens neat, sanitary, and compliant with prescribed health standards.
• Participate in delivering a tasty and enjoyable dining experience as part of the Signature Dining team.
• Read menus and communicate effectively with residents, families, other team members and vendors.
