Job summary

Country Meadows in Wyomissing, PA is seeking a Cook to prepare quality meals for residents. You will use broilers, ovens and other kitchen equipment to follow recipes and ensure food quality.

This full-time role offers work-life balance with a set shift 10:30am-6:30pm and every other weekend/holiday off. We provide extensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, a 401(k) match, paid time off, and on-campus meals at $2.

Qualifications

• At least one year of cooking or culinary experience.
• Flexibility to adjust to residents' needs.
• Willingness to learn food preparation techniques and presentation.
• Ability to multitask and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, cooks and packages recipes using broilers, ovens and equipment.
• Ensures all prep work is completed and adheres to recipes.
• Maintains quality and sanitation standards.
• Keeps area clean and maintains sanitation.
• Documents and completes food and temperature records.
• Uses POS technology to obtain meal orders from residents.
