Country Meadows in Bethlehem, PA is seeking a Cook to prepare quality meals for our residents. Pay starts at $19.50/hour, with opportunities to earn more based on experience.

The role offers career paths, training programs, and events to develop culinary skills while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. We offer full-time 6:30am-2:30pm with 75 hours bi-weekly (and some 10:30am-7:00pm shifts), or part-time 6:30am-2:30pm on weekends.

Formación

• At least one year of cooking or culinary experience.

As a Cook at Country Meadows, you will be cooking and preparing quality meals for our clients. You will have opportunities you won’t find in a typical restaurant. • Full-Time 6:30am-2:30pm, will require 1-2 weekdays of 10:30am-7:00pm, 75 hours bi-weekly
• Part-Time 6:30am-2:30pm, Saturdays and Sundays,15 hours bi-weekly

Cook Responsibilities:

• Prepares, cooks and packages recipes using broilers, ovens and a variety of other kitchen equipment.
• Ensures all prep work is completed.
• Understands and complies consistently with our standard recipes, quality standards and kitchen rules.
• Ensures quality of food at all times.
• Keeps area clean and maintains sanitation.
• Cleans all equipment according to cleaning procedures and cleaning schedules.
• Documents and completes food and temperature records.
• Use of Point of Service technology to obtain meal orders from residents, as needed.

Cook Requirements:

• At least one year of cooking or culinary experience.
• Flexibility to adjust to the needs of our residents.
• Willingness to learn food preparation techniques and presentation.
• Multi-tasking capabilities.
• Ability to perform the physical tasks required in this type of role.
• Have the ability to understand and speak English at a level which allows the safe, efficient performance of the job.
