Job summary

Provincial Senior Living is seeking a Cook for our Grapevine, TX community to prepare hot and cold menu items across grill, sauté, salad-bar, and service lines. You will ensure proper preparation, portioning, and serving per recipes and menu cycles, while evaluating taste and quality to maintain high standards.

Ideal candidates have prior experience in senior living or related food service, strong organizational and communication skills, and availability on weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Senior Living, restaurants, catering, or banquets preferred.
• Experience with production methods, portion control and food handling safety required.
• Great organizational skills a must.
• Strong communication skills.
• Attention to detail and presentation of food product is required.
• Must be able to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold menu items which requires working on the grill, sauté station, salad-bar and on the service line;
• Ensure the proper preparation, portioning and serving of foods as indicated on the menu cycle and the standardized recipes;
• Taste and prepare food to determine quality and palatability.
