Job summary

Arvum Senior Living is seeking a Cook to support our Assisted Living and Memory Care communities. You will prepare hot and cold menu items, work across grill, sauté, salad-bar and service lines, and ensure meals meet standardized recipes and portioning guidelines.

The role emphasizes quality, presentation, and teamwork in a senior living environment, with opportunities for growth and advancement within a large national organization.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Senior Living preferred.
• Experience with production methods, portion control and food handling safety required.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• Must be able to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold menu items which requires working on the grill, sauté station, salad-bar and on the service line.
• Ensure the proper preparation, portioning and serving of foods as indicated on the menu cycle and the standardized recipes.
• Taste and prepare food to determine quality and palatability.
