Arvum Senior Living is seeking a skilled cook to join our culinary team across our senior living communities. You will prepare hot and cold menu items, work on grill, sauté, salad-bar and service line, and ensure dishes meet our standards for taste, portioning and presentation.

The role emphasizes accurate food preparation, adherence to recipes, strong organization, and reliable weekend availability to support our residents with quality meals and a positive dining experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Senior Living preferred.
• Experience with production methods, portion control and food handling safety required.
• Great organizational skills a must.
• Strong communication skills.
• Attention to detail and presentation of food product is required.
• Must be able to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold menu items on the grill, sauté station, salad-bar and service line.
• Ensure proper preparation, portioning and serving of foods as indicated on the menu cycle and the standardized recipes.
• Taste and prepare food to determine quality and palatability.
