Job summary

Provincial Senior Living seeks a Cook to join our team, supporting meal service in a senior living community. You will prepare hot and cold items across grill, sauté, salad-bar and service line, following standardized recipes.

Candidates with prior senior living or culinary experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and weekend availability are encouraged to apply; we offer competitive wages, benefits, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in Senior Living, restaurants, catering, or banquets preferred.
• Experience with production methods, portion control and food handling safety required.
• Great organizational skills; presentation of food is required.
• Must be able to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold menu items which requires working on the grill, sauté station, salad-bar and on the service line.
• Ensure the proper preparation, portioning and serving of foods as indicated on the menu cycle and the standardized recipes.
• Taste and prepare food to determine quality and palatability.
