Job summary

LCB Senior Living is hiring full-time cooks at Suffield by the River. The role involves preparing and serving meals in a restaurant-style dining atmosphere for residents, with supervision of culinary staff and collaboration with the Culinary Services Director.

A strong focus on food safety and sanitation is required. Qualified candidates will have 1–3 years of cook experience in hospitality or healthcare, and a Serve Safe Certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 1–3 years of cook experience in hospitality or healthcare.
• Serve Safe Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service and promote a restaurant-style dining atmosphere.
• Assist with supervision of culinary staff and kitchen operations.
• Prepare and execute dining enhancement programs and meals according to recipes and menus.
• Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen and storage areas at all times.
• Assist with opening/closing of the kitchen and with special events.
