Moraine Court Supportive Living in Bridgeview, IL is seeking a dependable Cook to join our culinary team and provide nutritious, flavorful meals for residents in a senior living setting. You will work 10-hour daytime shifts, four days per week, with every other weekend required, and you’ll help maintain a safe, sanitary kitchen while following menus and dietary guidelines.

• Previous cooking or food preparation experience
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Ability to follow recipes, menus, and dietary guidelines

• Ability to work 10-hour daytime shifts, four days per week
• Every other weekend availability required

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to established menus, recipes, and dietary guidelines
• Ensure meals are prepared and served safely, consistently, and on time
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures
• Accommodate resident dietary needs and special meal requirements as directed
• Assist with kitchen inventory, food storage, and restocking supplies
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment
• Properly store, label, and rotate food according to established procedures
• Collaborate with dietary team members to provide an enjoyable dining experience
• Communicate resident preferences, concerns, and dietary needs appropriately
• Assist with meal preparation for special events and community celebrations as needed
